B&C: About 20 years

B&C: The german wine stoppers
Is a lot of work to set up here?
B&C: NO we just love the business
How does Avon compare to the other markets in the area?
B&C: There is NO comparison. East Avon Flea is the BEST
How did you get started as a vendor?
B&C: We heard about it through other vendors, gave it a try and never looked back.
Ben and Jennifer, how long have you been coming to the market?
B&J: About 3 years or so
Do you put a lot of work into what uou sell?
B&J: It really depends on what we are selling that week (quantity)
Is the money you make worthwhile?
B&J: VERY GOOD compared to other markets
What do you like most about the East Avon Flea Market?
B&J: The LOW vendor rent and the overall atmosphere
How long have you been a vendor here?
B&J: 3 years
What is your best selling item?
B&J: The garden shoes
How did you get started as a vendor?
B&J: We bought some items, paid our rent, and came out.
We decided to feature our vendor Lance as he is one of our PREMIER vendors.
How long have you been coming to the Avon Flea market lance?
Lance: Since 1970
Is there a lot of work involved in being a vendor here?
Lance: No not all. I really enjoy it so it doesnt seem like work at all to me.
Is the money you make worthwhile?
Lance: MORE than worthwhile (Lance wouldnt share any of his sales figures though)
What is your secret for success in the flea business?
Lance: VARIETY and lots of it
What do you like most about the Avon Flea Market?
Lance:I have been to all of the really big ones but Avon is by far the best.
The flea market is now open on Saturdays. The turnout so far is not what we see on Sundays but so far it looks very promising. I encourage all vendors to take advantage of FREE setup until the end of the 2007 season.
